INTERNSHIP -  3 MONTHS - GAME DESIGNER

During my internship at Ankama, I worked on 2 games: Drag'n'Boom and an undisclosed project. Drag'n'Boom is a 2D mobile arcade/action game. Undisclosed project is a 2D mobile online-multiplayer hack-and-slash.

Tools: Unity, Google Suite, Confluence, PowerPoint.

CONCEPTION

  • Finding answers and solutions about retention problematics

  • Thinking about add-on

  • Giving feedbacks and ideas about the design and the level design

PRODUCTION

  • Balancing the macro experience

My missions on Undisclosed Project

CONCEPTION

  • Designing the whole experience (intentions, user experience...)

  • Defining mechanics and ergonomy to answer to those intentions

  • Thinking about target and economic model

PRODUCTION

  • Fast-prototyping with Unity

  • Designing enemies' patterns, developping and tweaking it with tools with Unity

  • Game balancing and gamefeel tweak with Unity

  • Level Design and game progression with Unity

  • Assets integration with Unity

FORMALISATION

  • Making communication documents (mock-up with Confluence for the team, PowerPoint for presentations)
